Film Credits Research
Taxi Driver
Director: Martin Scorsese
The credits in 'Taxi Driver are placed in different clips of the protagonist and the location. The actual credits are red which make them stand out from the dark background. All of the words are in capital letters and they are bold. Each credit only appears as long as necessary. The main title is in the center of the screen with the other credits off in the corner. The names of the people are in a bigger sized font than their jobs.
Psycho
Director: Alfred Hitchcock
The credits in 'Psycho' are revealed using moving grey bars. No clips are shown with the credits and it is kept very minimalist. The actual credits are white on a black background. All of the words are in capital letters and they are bold. The grey bars appear from different sides of the screen. The main title is in the center of the screen with the more to the side. The names of the people are again in a bigger sized font than their jobs.

Split
Director: M. Night Shaymalan
The credits in 'Split' are put on black screens that are cut in between scenes from the opening. The credits are white, bold and all are in capital letters. The title of the film is in the middle of the screen. The other credits are also in the middle of the screen but are spaced up more to fill up the screen. The names of the people are in a bigger sized font than their jobs.
The Shining
Director: Stanley Kubrick
The credits in 'The Shining are placed in multiple aerial shots of mountains and road. The credits are a bright blue colour which makes them stand out. The credits move up the center of the screen, this includes the title. All of the credits are centered. The title and the names are all in capitals but the job titles are in lower case. The names are in a much bigger font than their jobs.
Shutter Island
Director: Martin Scorsese
The credits in 'Shutter Island' are put in the negative space of multiple clips edited together. The credits switch from red and white, both colours making them stand out from the dark background. The title of the film is in the center with the other credits being in the corners. The credits are all in capital letters. The names of the people are in a bolder and slightly bigger font than their job titles.
Overall, I have learnt that there are many similarities to film's credits. Many credits are in bold fonts and all capital letters. Credits scenes with blank background normally have their credits in the middle and credit scenes with film clips normally have their credits in the negative space in the corners. The credits are also in a bright colour to make them stand out against the dark background.
